Limited Liability Partnership "Batys Power" was formed in 2011, commissioning of the first start-up complex took place on March 31, 2016.

The territory and engineering infrastructure of GTPP-200 URALSK, that was performed during the construction of the first start-up complex, was prepared for the installation of two turbine-generator units with the subsequent construction of heat-recovery units and generation of additional power.

The main task of Batys Power LLP is to generate electrical power for consumers in Western Kazakhstan, to cover the deficit, and to export surplus electrical power to neighboring regions. Technical specialists, who commissioned the plant, are at the moment the backbone of the operating personnel. Operational staff includes highly qualified specialists for the control and maintenance of all gas turbine equipment and auxiliary equipment, as well as specialists providing solutions to issues related to finance, accounting, legal aspects, management and logistical support of the project.

The project "GTPP-200 URALSK" provides two stages of construction, at the first stage construction of two GTU (Gas Turbine Units) 100 MW each is planned, with a simple production cycle, the second stage provides the construction of heat recovery boilers and steam turbine, reaching in total the rated output up to 300 MW. Also, the first stage is divided into two start-up complexes.
